October 8, 2024 - Our logo and name have served us well for nearly 40 years! As we are looking to the coming years, we are excited about a new name and a new look that will take us into the future. Our new branding will be with us as we develop new education programs, organize first-time homebuyers across the state, and continue working to increase access to affordable sustainable homeownership.
So why the new name?
For quite some time our guiding light has been closing the racial homeownership gap in Massachusetts. We know this is no small task. We know this will take time. But we also know that we can do more. Access to affordable, sustainable homeownership is paramount.
This is why we are becoming the Massachusetts Affordable Homeownership Alliance. It is a small change with a big meaning. Homeownership has always been at the forefront of our work but now it holds the same position in our name.
All in all, we are still MAHA.
