June 7, 2021 – MAHA today announced that the Dorchester-based nonprofit’s long-time executive director, Tom Callahan, is departing at the end of 2021, starting a leadership transition process over the next six months. Tom’s decision will conclude a highly impactful 34 years of service to MAHA, with the last 30 as Executive Director.

Our congratulations to Kenzie Bok on winning the District 8 City Council seat yesterday. Kenzie becomes the first MAHA Board member to win elective office in the organization's 34 year history. Kenzie was a leader in the effort to pass the Community Preservation Act in Boston in 2016 and campaigned on a platform of increasing affordable housing opportunities in her district and throughout the city. We look forward to working with her in 2020.

Boston– October 30, 2017 – Santander US CEO Scott Powell today announced Santander’s “Inclusive Communities” plan, the Bank’s new $11 billion agreement with the National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) to increase lending, community development, and charitable giving. “Inclusive Communities” was developed with significant input from and collaboration with more than 100 community-based organizations, including MAHA leaders Esther Maycock Dupie, Symone Crawford and many others.
